The McCalmans were a folk song trio formed in Scotland in 1964 by Ian McCalman, Derek Moffat and Hamish Bayne. In 1982, Nick Keir joined the group after Hamish Bayne's departure. Founding member Derek Moffat died in 2001, and Stephen Quigg joined the band. The McCalmans played their last concert on December 10, 2010. Nick Keir passed away on June 2, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. |
