A Note To The Fans

Hello dear fans, welcome to another installment of Irish Rover songs. As our name might suggest, we are indeed from Ireland and yes, still roving around. I say still because our "farewell tour" which started over two years ago seems to be getting extended on a weekly basis! Since we have little say in the matter and very few other skills in this life, it looks like the roving will continue for a wee while yet. After all, Cher is on her fifth farewell tour, so we have a bit of catching up to do. The band is only 55 years old — youngsters yet!

We've called this latest collection of songs saints and sinners, and in case you're wondering who is who, well I like to think of myself as the saint and of course the rest of the band the sinners! Hmm … Wonder if they have a different opinion? There's sailor songs and love songs, auto biographical songs, a French song (excuse the pronunciation in advance) and for our sun loving fans an Irish, reggae, west Indian calypso type song. As usual, these songs can be enjoyed with an accompanying wee glass of Irish whiskey or perhaps some rum with coconut water. Enjoy! The songs that is.
