Sleeve Notes

The rain was "pouring out of buckets" and the wind was howling like a banshee. A typical night in Ireland you're thinking, but you'd be wrong. This is Vancouver Island, the so-called Hawaii of Canada. Mother nature disagrees tonight. Thankfully it didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the sold-out audience waiting for us at the New Port Theatre in Nanaimo. They were a lively bunch indeed, clapping and singing along with us all night. Rick Salt our recording engineer for the past six albums rolled in the machines and as we say in Ballymena, "We were off the the races". This live recording is the result of that evening of March 26th, 2003… We hope you enjoy the show as much as we enjoyed doing it.
