The Corries   •   Discography

The Corries were a Scottish folk duo consisting of Roy Williamson and Ronnie Browne. The group started as The Corrie Folk Trio with Bill Smith and Paddie Bell. Paddie left the band in 1965, and Bill Smith left in late 1966. After playing as The Corries at the Royal Jubilee Arms Hotel in Cortachy to an enthusiastic audience, Roy and Ronnie decided to carry on as a duo. The Corries continued to perform and record until Williamson died in 1990.
