Sleeve Notes

When the opportunity arose a few years ago to tour in the Scottish Highlands with one of my all time favourite folk groups, it was grasped with both hands. Since then the Highland tour has grown as I hope has our friendship. When I mentioned to this same group that I was planning a new album not only did they offer to help with backing, they also offered to record the album in their own digital recording studio - such is their enthusiasm. It is to that end that I offer my sincere thanks to Nick Keir and Ian McCalman of The McCalmans for their boundless energy, generosity, and musical know how, without all of which this album would not have been possible.

Thanks lads,
Stephen Quigg
