Sleeve Notes

When Rob O Dochartaigh (Robbie to his friends) decided to record an album of Irish songs, he headed for Ireland. He wanted the authentic Irish "blas" on his record.

We at Cuchulainn are proud that he came to us. We present this record to his many fans in the United States, in Ireland and in many parts of the globe.

We are also proud to present Robbie's own brilliant compositions, "Fare thee well Donegal" and "Lovely County Donegal". His talent as a songwriter is now clearly established and we look forward with pleasure to recording many of his numbers.

We wish "Buaidh agus Beannacht" to Robbie on his way upward and onward.
