The Parvarim (Haparvarim)  •  Discography

The Parvarim (Haparvarim), Israeli folk duo founded in 1960 by Yossef Houri and Nissim Menachem (1938-2016). The duo briefly became a trio in 1965, when Jimmy Siman Tov joined the band, but he left six months after joining when he fell in love with an audience member while on tour in South Africa. In 1977, Nissim became religious and decided to stop appearing on weekends and performing romantic material, leading to his replacement by Uri Harpaz. In 2015, Harpaz left The Parvarim and has be replaced by Hagai Rehavia.
